WELCOME!

I am a registered music therapist, which means that I completed a Master of Music Therapy in 2014 at the University of Queensland, and then became registered with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA).

I am also a qualified professional supervisor, and the owner of Central Queensland Music Therapy located in Gladstone, QLD. I work with children to adults, specialising in neurodivergence and growing self-identity after trauma.

I love being a musician! I sing and play guitar and piano. Although I dabble a lot in percussion through my work, which is fun, if a bit loud! Music is so important to how I feel and who I am as a person. As well as being such an effective tool when helping people understand their neurology while feeling safe and supported in the therapeutic process. It’s also really fun!

I love all the parts of my life. I am 35 years old, married, a mother of two, a business owner, a mentor, a creative, and just over a decade into my career. My life experiences have shown me that being kind, validating, and empathetic is the key for helping people to grow. My professional beliefs and values come from this philosophy, and it continues to influence my work as I navigate changing environments.
